Well, today was my turn to find some treasures. Jacob took Allie for the day to do some visits for work, so Kenna and I spent the afternoon doing some shopping. Since I only had one little munchkin, I decided to stop in and peruse the aisles of the DI without worrying about tearing the entire store apart with a 2-year-old. You see, when it comes to little ones who can be incredibly tough on clothes, I love to go there to get jeans they can just play in and not worry about. But today folks, was all about me. Let's just say I found a bunch of great little knick-knacks. If you're willing to search, you can actually find some stuff in really good shape. And the price is definitely right! So tonight Jacob will take me out on the town with my "new" shoes. Six bucks my friends, six bucks. Someone paid a whole heck of a lot more than that not too long ago based on how little they've been worn. Ha! I'm no dummy!
Ah. I love a good bargain.
Yes, Jacob my love, I really just wrote about my trip to the DI. And yes, I really do like these shoes. And no, they did not come out of the 70's. There is more to fashionable foot apparel than just boots, honey. At least I will actually use my treasures.
